The NAF Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials really is an event like no other, attracting some of the biggest names of the exciting and competitive world that is Eventing. This is your chance to get up close and personal to the dressage, touching distance of the cross country and within inches of the show jumping action.
Eventing really is the most exciting way to experience the trust and partnership of horse and rider and those of you that have been before will know that here, right at the heart of Hartpury, you can experience all that excitement right at your fingertips within a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Have a picnic by the Superflex Lake, take a bus or a stroll to the next cross country fence or have a browse around the shops and take your friends, even your dog, along with you for a super day out whilst brushingshoulders with the stars of the day.
Sponsored by NAF, the Hartpury International Horse Trials features the anticipated Recover CCI1*, Magic CCI2* and Superflex CIC3* from the 10th to the 14th August.
The Horse Trials dressage (August 11th and 12th) and the showjumping (August 13th and 14th) take place in Hartpury’s International Arena, which features tiered seating and shopping stands for spectators to enjoy and the star billing always goes to the stunning action on the cross-country course – built by Andrew Hunter and designed by Eric Winter – on Saturday, August 13th a shuttle bus service takes spectators to the viewing sites of all three testing courses to ensure you will not miss out on the action!
In previous years, competitors have included personalities such as Sir Mark Todd, Laura Collett, Tom McEwen, Mary King, Pippa Funnell, Harry Meade and Andrew Nicholson and the entries for this year’s competition will be unveiled soon.
