The British Horse Society (BHS) will be Charity of the Year for the Liverpool International Horse Show 2017.
The three-day event (31.12.16 – 02.01.17) features world class show jumping, the popular Shetland Pony Grand National, Abba tribute band ‘Revival’ and The Black Fire Girls and BGT’s Collabro.
Liverpool show president Nina Barbour said: “We are hugely excited to be back in the wonderful city of Liverpool ahead of what I know will be another not-to-be missed event.
“We were all left spellbound by the success of our inaugural 2016 show, which attracted fantastic support from the people of Liverpool and beyond, and together with competitors and performers alike, we are greatly looking forward to another three days at the superb Echo Arena that are sure to live long in the memory.”
A BHS spokesperson said: “It’s totally brilliant that we’re Equestrian Charity of the Year, money raised from the event will be raising vital funds for The British Society’s work helping the lives of horses. It’s going to be a fantastic festive family event”.
The event also hosts a number of other acts; Horse Power, Chariots of Fire, Equitop Myoplast Puissance, a New Year’s Eve firework display and a fantastic food shopping area.
Tickets start at just £11.50 and are available on the website at www.liverpoolhorseshow.com
