Racing returns to Chester in 100 days with the Boodles May Festival

There are now only 100 days to go until the season opener at Chester Racecourse; the Boodles May Festival. The three-day spectacular racing event runs Wednesday 10 – Friday 12 May and offers racegoers the opportunity to witness top-class racing in fine surroundings.

2016’s Boodles May Festival provided plenty of excitement, with Jamie Spencer’s second win in four years in the Chester Cup, this time on No Heretic and the thrilling tight finish in the Chester Vase with US Army Ranger pulling out all the stops to beat Port Douglas. The final day of the festival bore two triumphant winners with Viren’s Army marching home to victory in the Dee Stakes and the royal winner, Dartmouth providing the Queen with her first win in the historic Ormonde Stakes.

To celebrate the imminent arrival of the Boodles May Festival, Chester Racecourse is giving away 100 pairs of tickets to Chester Cup Day. To enter this exclusive competition, simply watch the promotional video on the Chester Racecourse website and correctly guess the number of times the pink ‘100’ logo appears.
