It is with great delight that Grandstand Media Ltd, organisers of Horse of the Year Show, welcome their new HOYS Ambassador to the ever growing HOYS Team.
Hannah Eccles, age 23 from Glasgow, joins the HOYS team after a 16 year career in competitive Equestrian Vaulting. Throughout her career she has won multiple FEI championship medals alongside her sister Joanne Eccles for Pas de deux. She won a bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games in Normandy in 2014, a World silver medal in 2012 and three European silver medals 2010, 2011, 2013.
Individually she came runner up in the 2012 World Cup Final. Hannah has also won a number of prestigious events including the Pfingst Turnier in Wiesbaden for her individual in 2011 and the CHIO Aachen in 2012 for Pas de deux. Nationally Hannah is 13 times British Pairs Champion. In 2013 Hannah was awarded the British Equestrian Federation medal of honour. Hannah is no stranger to the bright lights of HOYS having been part of the Equestrian Vaulting display that performed at the Horse of the Year Show in 2014 and 2015. Hannah will be at Horse of the Year Show throughout the week so if you see Hannah around the event, be sure to say hello.
