The British Horse Society (BHS) is delighted to be Charity of the Year at the London Spring International Horse Show in April 2017.
A six-day extravaganza of world class dressage, national and international showjumping – plus a host of sporting and musical entertainment – will take centre stage at the Ex-Cel London at Royal Victoria Docks from April 12-17.
The BHS, which has over 95,000 core members, provides a strong voice for horses and people and spreads awareness through support, training and education.
The Charity will be present throughout the event to advise visitors on the benefits of becoming a member, undertaking a challenge ride and how to become a BHS volunteer.
A wide range of BHS branded merchandise and a variety of books will also be available.
Daniel Watson, show director of the London Spring International Horse Show, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to announce the British Horse Society as our charity for the inaugural London Spring International.
“The BHS does fantastic work as the UK’s largest and most influential equestrian charity, protecting and promoting the interests of all horses and those who care about them, and with our first show at the ExCel being a celebration of the horse, this is an absolutely perfect partnership.”
A BHS spokesperson said: “We are delighted to be Charity of the Year at the first London Spring International Horse Show. Money raised from the event will be raising vital funds for The British Society’s work helping the lives of horses. It’s going to be a fantastic family event.”
