The Virbac 3D Worming Equine SQP of the Year Award goes to Liz Harwood of Hook Norton Veterinary Practise

Once again the standard of finalists provided a worthy winner for the Virbac 3D Worming Equine SQP of the Year Award.

From a field of highly qualified professionals, it was Liz Harwood from Hook Norton Veterinary Group who was awarded the prestigious title of Virbac 3D Worming Equine SQP of the Year 2016.

Hook Norton is a mixed veterinary practise with a specialised equine unit that includes operating facilities and for whom Liz has worked for over 15 years. Liz’s role is that of head farm and equine receptionist. A qualified SQP (Suitably Qualified Person) Liz is responsible for the buying of medicine supplies for the practise.

Hook Norton Veterinary group practise manager is Tony Udall. ‘It’s not only a good reflection on the practise but is also a deserved award for Liz as she has been the principle driver within our 6 strong SQP team. The Virbac Equine SQP of the Year is a now a well recognised award and we are immensely proud of what Liz and done.’

Liz was invited by Virbac to attend a gala night at Horse of the Year Show where she was presented with her prize from one of show jumping’s leading competitors and personality, William Funnell of the Billy Stud. ‘I’m honoured and privileged’ said Liz ‘it’s so nice to be recognised for my efforts and work’
