Renowned manufacturer of high-quality Italian leather tack, Amerigo, has created a new girth to help riders improve performance.
The new Amerigo GH27 Dressage Elastic Girth reflects Amerigo’s focus on technical design and scientific approach. It is specially shaped to distribute pressure from the girth over a wider surface area, as concentration in one narrow area can lead to soreness when over girthed.
Particularly useful for horses whose girth depth is closer to the elbow, the soft elastic and calfskin on the sides of the girth offer no resistance or sharp edges that might hinder movement. The wider-cut design ensures that the sensitive elbow does not connect with the girth. It remains softly in place when in use, connecting correctly in a straight line from the depth to the straps to help stabilise the saddle.
Available in black and brown, sizes from 55cm to 80cm with an RRP of £247.
Amerigo’s saddles and accessories are enjoyed by a wide spectrum of riders from all disciplines who appreciate the comfort, precision fitting and the improved performances of their horses, while also caring for their health. Michael Eilberg, Edwina Tops-Alexander, Daniel Deusser and Steve Guerdat, are among the top international riders who have chosen Amerigo to help them achieve their goals.
