Following weeks of market and customer based research, the UK’s leading equine bedding producer, BEDMAX Shavings, has today launched FIBREMAX to add another equine customer-focused option to their market-leading range of bedding products.
Through a tried and tested process, FIBREMAX is made using recycled wood fibre and is specifically designed to offer horse owners sustainable, affordable bedding that provides high levels of comfort and absorbency in the stable. It comes with all the assurance of consistent quality associated with all other BEDMAX products; it is dried at sterilising temperatures, dust extracted and can be easily composted after use.
A recent survey completed by BEDMAX highlighted the top three priorities cited by horse owners when choosing bedding are; 1) dust free, 2) absorbency and 3) cost. FIBREMAX has been developed to tick all these boxes. It is extremely cost effective but it also gives owners the confidence that they are providing a safe and hygienic stable environment for their horse.
FIBREMAX creates a supportive bed which reduces the movement of the bedding whilst the horse is stabled. This is particularly beneficial when the horse is lying down or rolling as it significantly minimises the likelihood of rubs and abrasions, or even more serious damage to the joints.
Commenting on the development of FIBREMAX, BEDMAX managing director, Tim Smalley, said: “Since we first launched BEDMAX Shavings back in 2000, our aim has been to offer horse owners a range of bedding products to suit every budget, yet still offer the same health and well-being benefits that we have spent many years researching.”
BEDMAX Shavings were the first dust free, tailor-made bedding for horses to be produced in the UK. In 2008 BEDMAX Limited was awarded a Royal Warrant from the Queen which they have held since. Today with three production plants and UK wide sales team, they are an industry leader and have expanded their product range to include BEDMAX, LITTLEMAX, STOCKMAX, HOTMAX and now the new FIBREMAX.
